Let’s Talk FT Ball is a vibrant online platform designed for football enthusiasts to discuss, follow, and engage with major global leagues. The bilingual (English/Arabic) site highlights upcoming seasons like Serie A 25-26 starting August 23, features league overviews, live social feeds, and community tools to connect fans worldwide for real-time matches and debates.
Achievements of the Project:
- Built an engaging, multi-league dashboard showcasing Serie A, RSL, EPL, La Liga, and more with dynamic banners and “More Info” CTAs
- Integrated live social media feeds from Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to display fan posts, match highlights, and stats in real-time
- Created a bilingual interface (English/Arabic) for broader accessibility in MENA regions and global audiences
- Added placeholders for expanding leagues (“More Leagues will be added”) to future-proof the platform
- Enhanced user experience with login/register functionality and community-focused navigation (About, Leagues, Discussion, Contact)
- Optimized for high-traffic events like season starts, ensuring fast loads during peak fan engagement
Challenges and Solutions:
- Challenge: Managing bilingual content and RTL support for Arabic without breaking layouts
- → Solution: Used Bootstrap 5’s responsive grid and flex utilities for seamless LTR/RTL switching, with React components for dynamic language toggles
- Challenge: Integrating live social feeds and keeping them fresh for football’s fast-paced updates
- → Solution: Embedded official APIs/widgets from FB/Twitter/IG, with lazy loading to maintain performance during high-volume posts
- Challenge: Balancing info on multiple leagues while keeping the home page uncluttered
- → Solution: Implemented card-based layouts with icons and minimal text, plus expandable sections for deeper dives
